Tag Grading

TAG (Trading Card Authentication & Grading) is a professional service that evaluates and authenticates trading cards based on condition, centering, edges, corners, and surface quality. Each card receives a numerical grade and is sealed in a protective case.

Turnaround times vary by service level. Standard service typically takes 20-30 business days, Express service 10-15 business days, and Super Express 5-7 business days from the date we receive your cards.

TAG uses a 10-point grading scale, with 10 being Gem Mint (perfect condition) and 1 being Poor. Half-point grades are also assigned for cards that fall between whole number grades.

Cards should be placed in penny sleeves and top loaders, then secured in a cardboard box with bubble wrap or packing material. Always use tracked and insured shipping. Include your completed submission form inside the package.

We grade all major trading card types including sports cards (baseball, basketball, football, hockey), Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and other collectible card games. Vintage and modern cards are both accepted.

Yes! Once your submission is received and logged into our system, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can check the status of your order online at any time through our customer portal.
